Scalextric DPR Compatible Chassis for SCX NASCAR Aero (Monte Carlo)

I don't have those cars, but if either of them are CoT or Aero style bodies, the chassis are the same for others of like style bodies.

And these aren't "tuner" chassis. These are SCX style chassis, just with DPR features, and standard guide mount. You still are using the SCX pod and front wheels.
Hi Greg, I printed off your chassis and it fits perfectly...but would it be possible to take it one stage further and do a full DPR chassis that uses all an Scalextric drive train (the front wheels can say SCX) that fits the SCX body? I have a few SCX NASCAR's and they are no match for the Scaley Sidewinders, but the bodies are really nice. All the ones I can find on the web (Shapeways etc use Slot.it pods and I don't really want that)

I have no desire or intention of becoming a chassis designer, so I would suggest that if anyone believes there is a market for such a chassis, to suggest it to one of the many other entities that are producing a variety of slot car chassis. Fortunately, they would only need two versions, since all the SCX NASCAR CoT chassis are the same, and all the Aero chassis are the same.
That's fair enough Greg, if I can find a STL file of a Scaley SW chassis I should be able to transplant the motor mount and rear axle mounts into your SCX chassis in Tinkercad...the search is on ;)

And yes if someone mods the chassis please share them as suggested by its creator😀
I'm going to do an inline and SW based on Greg's chassis, the inline is on the printer at the moment...SW is gunna take a bit longer

Looks good. Sticking with the SCX front wheels, though? Or do those hold regular bushing OK? I've never tried putting normal bushings into those stub axle clips.
I'm going to use the front wheels and bodies off my cars, that's why I retained your original front end (y)

Inline short can had it's test fitting last night...couple of little tweaks to do and that's that one finished

Just finished the SW version...it's up on Thingiverse (link at the bottom) as a Remix

I used a standard Scalextric short can motor, for the drive it uses Slot.it bearings, axle and 19mm driven gear, and wheels of your choice, the front uses the OEM SCX wheels/axles...I also changed the guide hole size so I could use a Scalextric guide.

The motor will take a little fettling to get the mesh right, once you’re happy with the mesh either superglue it, or hot glue it in place.

This chassis is for the Ford Fusion and Chevy Impala.

And this is the latest (and last)...remix of Mr Flippant's chassis for the SCX NASCAR's...this one is an SW for the Monte Carlo, I managed to retain the OEM front axle and squeeze in the DPR hatch…just. Motor used is an Scalextric short can, axles, bearings and driven gear are Slot.it, rear wheels are BRM Nascar…not 100% sure which tyres I’ll run yet, probably PG’s. I don't have any spare plugs/wiring harnesses left so this one is going to have to wait a couple of weeks before getting it's maiden flight.

Neillie, do you know if the SCX Monte Carlo and Dodge Charger use the same body mount positions?
No idea mate...but if you measure the Charger mounts I can check them against the Monte Carlo

Just so I don't cause any further confusion the earlier cars are "Aero" and the later cars are "CoT"?
Pretty much...2007 ~ 2012 were CoT with a large front splitter, and 1992 ~ 2007 were called Aero because they went for a more aerodynamic body shape
