There was only 1 point in it with BSN and Mope coming up closely behind in the slot.

Nice car. Thats the one I would have chosen too!

I was running the Focus's last night as I have not run them for a while and they run very much in the "old style" before the bar magnets were introduced. Fairly slidey and remarkably stable considering how tall they are.

But of course you all know this anyway as you all have a couple.

Maybe we should run these in the next UK wars?

I'm up for one Moped and seeing how you organised one so masterfully last time I nominate you. How about a Euroland one?

Focus - only has the button magnet in it and I wiped it out straight away - needs a bit more careful driving comp to SCX rally cars but is much more forgiving than I expected. Quite a lot of axle sideways movement. Added 3 washers to the front axle but I cannot remove the rear wheels to space out the rear axle. Also can't get it to flex as the rear number plate is part of the chassis and clips on to the body - have to remove it to get any flex. However a nice model although it has not sated my appetite for a 2003 Focus WRC - I will be getting my mits on the SCX proper 2003 car when (?) its released.

I will arrange a "Euro Wars" but my problem is my weekends at the moment are very busy until December. Just so that you know.

It would be nice if it was on a bigger or faster circuit next time. And we will only run identical cars per heat. If it means that we only run one or two cars for all the races so be it.

It was very noticable in "UK Wars" that the closest races were those which were "one make" races.

Cheers

"Migraine on wheels"

It sounds as if Scalextric have got a hit with the kids this Xmas then!

The sooner they bring out a "Cops and Robbers" Scalextric set the better.

The "robbers" car has to be black, a Mercedes, and have smoked glass.

A bit like the "Challenger" car in fact!

Maybe thats why the silver one is more popular?

suits me.. I think an early black Jag XJR would be better for the cop and robbers set! its so sinister

Just remember Inte' it does not matter HOW close you come to winning...

Second Place is the FIRST loser!

Whoever said winning isn't everything, probably just came second.

'Cops and Robbers' set ? isn't that what they just did with the Italian Job Set? Thank God those Minis don't have realistic sounds added. I just had to ban MiniSwiss' from reading any posts that include any reference to noisy cars. Except for the one by Thomas because they spoke about it the weekend just gone
