Scalextric Guide Blades... Again.

3168 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Dave Dolinoy
I realize this is an old complaint. My Scalextric guide blades keep breaking. My hobby shop must love it. The only option I know of is to buy C8329 Guide blade/4 braid plates which costs me $4 + S&H. I don't need any more braid plates, but can always use more guide blades. Is there a replacement guide blade that is designed better that doesn't require modifying anything?

Henning,
Can you give me part #s for the B-Nova guide repair pieces and Slot-it guides.
I don't want to get the wrong ones.
Were these parts created as replacement parts for the Scalextric guide blades (since they are so lame) or were they originally created for other cars and just happen to be compatible with Scalextric cars?
Thanks.
Dave
Henning,
That sounds great.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I'll have to try it out and give you feedback.
