The Scalextric model
The car modeled in the Scalextric 'Super-Resistant' range but decorated as if it were a highly detailed car. It has a light and very strong one-piece body fitted with rubber mirrors. Ideal for use by the novice racer and a great Scalextric Digital racer.

History
FIA European GT3 Championship. Drivers: NIELS LAGRANGE (BEL) - JOSE LUIS CUNILL (ESP). Team: TEAM ARGO RACING.

Supported by the internationally active automotive and motorsport industry supplier ATEC. ARGO Racing contested the German ADAC GT Masters for three years with the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 claiming 2 wins, 16 podium finishes and 5 pole positions.

QUOTE (wayne69x @ 12 Oct 2011, 10:59) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I like the super resilient's for racing but these things are hybrids. they arnt the 1 piece injection moldings like the TT's or the Porsche Boxsters were, they have separate windows like the normal cars its just they are just molded in black rather than clear. This dosnt make it tougher just lowers the detail.

Even if Scalextric sold the high detail parts to convert them would be a good start, added cost but at least it would be an option. They arn't exactly giving them away either

The Gallardo is like the Boxter in the way it is a one piece moulding. Same as the Ferrari although, Scalextric do a detailed Ferrari too, it is not interchangeable with the non-detailed version. Un-like the R8 which just has the blacked out windows. (does any of that make sense?
) In short, with this Gallardo, you cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear. (that hasn't helped either!) You want detail? Wait for the Ninco version.
