is that the standard version then? is it true about the stardard one been faster then the sport?

yep , standard version.
don't know about overall speed as I don't have the Sport version for comparison
( I am a collector only not a shop ).
I'll say thatb it is a good runner though, and has some nice photoetch parts etc. Also the new modular engine / rear axle design is pretty interesting.
