Howdy All.

I have this great looking track section that I just recently acquired - the Scalextric Penalty Chicane. However, my track section is missing the bits that go inside the red housing that helps signal if you've struck one of the four bumpers.

I'm interested in restoring this piece of track back to operational so if you have an example I'd sure like to know what's missing and how it works. Might be able to put together something similar. I can't imagine this is extremely sophisticated electronics.

Thanks!

Have look in any bicycle shop (avoid [email protected]@rd$) it is just a noisey hooter. Join the hooter to the brace then one wire to the brace and the other to the hooter such that it forms a circuit. You will need to test the hooter to identify the two poles for connections, but if you look at one in a bicycle shop it should be clear.
