hi SlotForum,

could anyone point me in the direction of a uk copy of Scalextic's RMS software to download. I bought the RMS set the other week on ebay but was sent a Spanish version!! I contacted Hornby but they said that they don't have any back copies or anything digital I can download. Even I have backups of old work I have done.
Any help would be great, thanks

I have a copy of the RMS software and the latest/last updates to it. Either PM (if you have broadband) me your email address and I'll send a copy to you or PM me your postal address and I'll send some disks to you if you are in the UK

What is it you particularly need the Scalextric RMS software for ? It's kind of rubbish, to be honest. There are alternative software packages available that will work with the hardware, and do the job better when it comes to timing/scoring and track design. Some are even free, like Yascart and UR30.

im a long time scalextric user

but only just getting into the wonders of digital and just picked up the RMS cheap of ebay (probably because it was Spanish lol) just wanted a play. but now that im on this good site will have a nose through the other software possibilities.
I wiil probably be using a laptop with only usb connections, but a do have a ps2 - usb and small serial - usb converters.
Im interested in the Lap times and pit calculations obviously but like i said will have a nose.
