Sorry to post this here but it won't let me post it in the correct section. Was just wondering if anyone had connected the scalextric RMS through a usb port and if so does it work.

I think it is the operating system that is the issue, designed for windows 98, works with XP?, not with Vista and not with Windows 7...

I got mine working on an old PC via a serial port if I remember correctly.

I think most modern PC's don't have the serial ports as standard these days although you can buy I/O cards that will give your PC serial and a comms port.
