Probably should have gone for MSC, But then again if all of your collection is scaley that would be silly.

Well, IMO the scalextric car looks "right", more than I can say for the MSC version to be fair !
Add to that the MSC costs around £17 more and still has plastic wheels, I know which one I would get (he says, resisting the urge ....)

l have the msc version and so do a few of our club members. In my opinion the 200 is a better balanced than the 6r4, but the motor is difficult to tame, strange power band charactetistics. Most have changed, l run an nc6, chassis easier to set up than avant slot, & l run dual band drive. My quickest 4x4 & most stable

the people are certainly better in the msc version, other slight details but not loads.

Just received my Scalextric RS200, nice model although I found the wiring was really tight when installing the digital chip, so much so that it pulled the lights out of their mountings so had to open up the whole car to make it look like the light were shining forward rather than straight up through the bonnet. Also if you look down from above the digital chip is very obvious to see through the windscreen.

whinge whinge whine

I do like it though and it drives well with a nice slide round corners!
