I recently bought 3 Carrera sets form an advert in the Swap Shop section and I must say "what great pieces of kit they are".

I have now got 'THE BUG'

A friend at work this morning told me that there were some very cheap Scalextric sets on offer here yesterday. I cannot find the post. Does any one know where the post has gone or am I too late?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It was pointed out to us that with 70 odd sets to shift the poster was more akin to a dealer, and the rules prohibit dealers from using this section of the site.

I`ve no problem or argument with that decision except to ask when is a dealer not a dealer and what then are the guide line limits on what you can and cannot sell? Genuine question bearing in mind a SF member recently sold a bloomin big collection on here?

Seemed to me he was offering them at a silly price and would have made a few people very happy?

Swap Shop Rules say this:

While that does not set specific limits, it does very clearly prohibit COMMERCIAL VENTURES.
By any standards, offering up more than 70 sets is a commercial venture ! ! !
It is also clearly stated that queries should be Emailed direct to Admin.
