Scalextric Sport - power supply

A basic question, I am sure.

I have some sport track and wish to make a track which is portable, and quite long, maybe 10 yds

Will I be btter to have two 16V connections to the power track (two power supplies) or will i be better having a jumper cable from one side of the track to the other?

Scalex Sport track fits well enough to not have to be bothered with jumper cables until you exceed twice as much track.

Two 16v transformers are better than one if you are using a Scalex Sport powerbase as each one serves a lane so you don't get power surges and dips when another car tips out, or starts to consume power.
