watching itv today i noticed one of the many scalextric adverts was advertising scalextric turtles, (last week it was moto gp bikes "yes they are as fast as they look"

) but this time it was turtles! but they were in micro scalextric size
would'nt it have been more feesable to reproduce the 1/32 versions?

i dont think so!

micro scalextric are better for children to thrash around as they stick to the track a lot better a combination of magnet strength/small cars !

hence children will not get fed up of constantly stoping to put there car/turtle on track and will hopefully in the longterm give them a better experience of scalextric before they move on to their dads layouts etc

i think it will be a good move in the longterm for our hobby

in my humble opinion
