Scalextrix Limited Edition Hornby Visitor Centre R8

Thinking about it myself, also includes two tickets to the visitor centre, however very similar to the club car with exception of roof printed. when you look what some people pay on email most probably a investment, the club car seems to be selling for more than the price of joining the club!, do you know if they are individually numbered as this may increase your investment.

My understanding is that each box will be numbered individually. It will be interesting to see which number i get. From what i can tell the only difference between this and the club car is the roof, but then thats why i got it, because only 201 people (max) will have the precise same car, so in a few years to come it may be worth a lot more.

I also cant honestly understand why people are paying such high prices on ebay for a car you can get when you pay the standard membership fee!

Blimey yeah, lucky i did really, well if it is sold that fast i guess it is now worth even more!!

I knew it was exactly the same as the club car, but for the die hard collector the different logo on the roof makes all the difference.

This one will be staying in its box, but when i renew my membership then the R8 in scalextric club livery will be making an appearance on the track.

I would have bought two but funds/wife wouldn't allow me to do it.

And seemingly exactly the same as the 2011 Range Presentation Car ( excepting roof tampo)
Which as been seen on offer for > £150

Don`t always assume that a "limited edition" will automatically become a valuable collectors item in the future.
