Rail Modeller is a good, reliable programme that you can use for slot car track design. It includes track section libraries for all the different brands. It's shareware but it's perfectly usable for free except that you can't print - but you can screen capture the image and save as a pdf. You can see the sort of output you can get here.

Thanks justDave, took me a while to find the Scalextric Sport/Digital section but finally got there in the end. You can't save either with the shareware version but thats cool.

Hi Aidan,
Is it an Intel mac?
If so this thread from last year might be of interest:

Apple Mac vs Scalextric Digital

Track Power & SSDC works well on mine using Parallels Desktop 6 and Windows XP

Yeah its a Intel Imac 27", thanks Richard I'll cross over and take a look at the other post. Rather not run Parallels though, so are there any other Mac Track Design programs or is their just the one?

I searched long and hard for a good track designer program for the Mac... IMHO, there3 aren't any.

I ended up using Ultimate Racer 3 (I didn't want to pay for track design software) as I found it the easiest and most intuitive to work with when using a Mac (in Parallels) with a track pad.

Cheers
