More Coffee break eye candy, this time in the shape of the latest livery from Scalextric of the great Mercedes CLK DTM.
This one commissioned for the Collector Centre shops as their offering for this year (1000 made and the crystal case outer wraps give you the number of yours).
At first glance the livery looks identical to the SCX one of awhile back. It isn't though, this is number 24 and driven by the Englishman 'Pallett'...
The SCX version is number 42 and Driven by 'Mücke' of German persuasion...
The same differences are still there, this being identical in design if not colour and printing. Interesting to note the difference in opinion between SCX and Scalextric on the shade of blue for these cars...
It STILL has Le Mans yellow front lights and this is beginning to really get up my nose! Come on guys, how hard can it be to change two bulbs for cars NOT racing or that never raced at Le Mans when the yellow light restriction was in force???
Anyway rant over - times up - slurp down those coffee dregs and get back to work! yer Boss is coming...
Enjoy!
