My Friend's GT40 upper bodyshell has been badly damaged and he asked me to find out where I could find a new one for him, does anybody have any ideas.

Alternatively, there may be something to suit on ebay. Also I know that pendle have some odd stocks of bodies, so you may want to check them in case they have what you're looking for:

you could always buy the Hornby static version of the GT40. You could even take a mould from it and produce your own body or bodies.

I asked him again what was damaged and he told me that it was the rear windscreen and the rear engine vent-I think he over exaggerated slightly

He has since removed them and is now looking around for them. I don't think you'll find them on their own but if anyone does come across some post up a message on this post. The car is the SCalextric #9 GT40 JW Automotive Golf.

Hornby makes a 1/32 kit that features a GT40.

however, there is no picture, so I cant be sure its the #9 livery
