Here's what i've managed to fit into the little bit of space allowed me in the loft
top corners

bottom corners with part of car park

track is sunk in 6mm mdf about half finished but plenty useable
powered by 7.5 amp 13.8v power supply.
bit of a work in progress job methinks

Now thats a good idea! my current pole with hook can be a pain sometimes!

This is really fantastic so inventive, i would really enjoy racing on this track well done, don't forget to cover that attic hole, good collection of cars as well, are you going to do scenery? you have enough space to put loads of pit things and trees and all sorts.

Looks like you've a very similar loft to me, but a much more imaganative track! What an excellent use of space. Mine's positively boring in comparison, but it's only there 'till I pul my finger out and get routing.

I like this magnet on a pole idea - it doesn't take long to get sore knees when you're fetching cars on a chipboard floor!

best implemented on a bit of flattened copper tubing on the end of a bamboo pole or similar to reach under the cars
one or 2 of the standard magnets glued on does it nicely
