Hi Guys,
The new Scorpius controller will soon be compatible to the new SSD APB. You will need the Scorpius dongle too. Price for both controller and dongle $279. (Controller $179.00, Dongle 99.00). Only one dongle is required and all 6 controllers will operate on one channel, but will have unique IDs 1-6 of course.
The concept is not designed to compete with converted bluetooth SSD controllers by Andy, rather both product lines should cover the range as required by end users. In fact if you wanted 6 wireless controllers you moight buy 5 SSD ones and one Scorpius controller just to spoil yourself a little

Im not sure if SSD contriollers could ciome in via the Scorpius dongle or not, yet to be decided.

As the hardware is now out its just a matter of writing and debugging software.

So, are you creating a standalone RMS so that the Scorpius input can control the APB, or are you working with Andy or someone else to bring the Scorpius input to an existing RMS?

Ill let the software developer announce that when the time is close

Our focus is on Scorpius development, and the Scorpius RMS will always be only for Scorpius.

The adaption to SSD here is simply a no brainer due to the fact all the hardware and most of the software is complete.
and Ill be looking for beta testers.

Hi Miguel,

Wireless control through an RMS will never work with standard C7030 as the PC connection is only one way. The PB only gives data out, does not receive data.

We are all so used to the idea of two way comms that we forget it was a PB-Pro feature introduced to allow us to develop cool things like SSDC.

Cheers

Riko
