Hi Guys,
As you have seen there is a lot of talk about wireless controllers:)

As the pioneers and leaders of wireless technology for slot cars we are excited to announce stock will be available in 5 weeks time for the latest batch of Scorpius controllers and dongles. It will run on Scorpius digital wireless, Scorpius analog wireless, SSD 7042 and RichGs latest offering, Display Pro. So quite a bit of flexibility. It will also work with our proposed universal digital powerbase receiver.

A Scorpius dongle is required and will handle up to 6 controllers.
Quality and technology the best of its kind so well worth consideration. Price $179 AUD plus tax and postage. Dongle is $99 plus tax and postage. See website or details.

The promise, quicker lap times than any other controller or your money refunded

When will the "proposed universal digital powerbase receiver" be available? Is that in design, proof of concept, prototype, pre-production, or what stage of development?

Everything else is back in stock in 5 weeks, right?

Is the "proposed universal digital powerbase receiver" planned to have the opportunity to adjust amp/voltage to the track?? Also, will you be able to race with cars equittet with various types of digital chips at the same time?

No but if you have no adjustment on your PSU you can use the Learner Mode function on the controller to reduce car speed.

No you will always be using the original powerbase, and hence also its matching propriety car decoder. The receiver plugs into the controller inputs on the various PBs.

I think he was talking about stock chips versus MIH coded chips.
I think the answer for that is that Scorpius will have nothing to do with it. If the cars can be controlled in any special way via the base, then this will work the same as a wired controller.
Currently, all MIH special features require SSDC interactivity, in which case you might as well go through that for Scorpius wireless support.

Prototypes for the Scorpius universal digital PB receiver are over a year off. Got it.

The priorities are the new car decoder and the analogue wireless module. Once these are complete then we can move on to other things.....
