Hi boys,

here´s a little different car that i built. No finished but for some photos ist´s enough

It´s a scrapyard found and i had to buy it

Matchox kit
Colour Tamiya Ts black
rust and dust lifecolor
Chassis PPL
Wheels kit
Motor Mabuchi

a lot of aging and weathering is done, some more details have to be fixed. Driver and inlet are in planning

and here is the result, sorry the laquer isn´t as good as most of you prefer

Enjoy that scrap iron

Hey, I have a 3,000 square foot shed that's full of old British cars that look just like that.

Nice job.

real car with real lichen

Frank, you have taken "barn find" to a new level.

My painting skills are still trying to achieve "clean and shiney" now I know there is also "old and dirty"

I hope the wheels wobble! That is way too good, totally believable, totally realistic. I love the graffitti down the side, really subtle! Maybe one of the tyres should be flat?

Brilliant. You need to do the same on the new Scalextric MGB, when they were a current car they always had an orange tinge to the edges...

Hi Frank, are you going to buy that car and restore it into a hot rod slot car?

Just joking, love your rusty paint technique and the model of course. Is this car going to be a part of a future slot track diorama, or diorama theme?
cheers,
Danny
