Here's an in-progress pictures of my stratchbuilt pedestrian bridge/timing gantry. I needed something to hold my LEDs for Trakmate, and this is what I came up with. I'm fairly pleased with it. I still need to add some details (like color accents and "Pastime International Raceway" across the white section) and the second set of steps on the other side.

The best thing is I finally can use my lap counter!

The pit wall on the left is temporary and has not been permanently installed yet.

There is an earlier thread on this board that has pictures of my in-progress layout.

Thanks for looking!

Steve-o,

Man that looks nice! Now I'm going to have to get that triangular stuff for my stairs - mine suck compared to that!

Great work buddy!

Thanks guys. Nope Peter, only two types of track. The pit road uses some Scalextric Sport track I had. The track at the edge of the picture is still Artin, it just hasn't been painted gray yet.

The bridge and garage are made out of basswood. Like I said, I'm fairly happy with it and is more of a representation of 1950s and 1960s era pedestrian bridges.
