<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi Andy, sorry to sound thick but what do yo mean by PK screws.
Regards Keith
LOFL..
+ cut heads, like Philips, but not like them. self tapping. The screws that hold the chassis to the body. Be them Hornby, Slot.it, NSR, HPI, Pioneer, they are all abut the same size in dia. some are longer than others, but that is not down to one make. All use long and short at some point. 5.5mm to 9.5 long.
PK Screws, just cannot believe you have never heard of them, been around now since the early 70's. before that it was Philips, which are still used a lot in the wood working sheds of the UK. PK, mainly used for Plastic and Metal.
Now some is going to come back and tell us, NO, there not PK, there ............................................................

QUOTE Oh, we can answer some questions, but this question is similar to the classic "How long is a piece of string?". Different slot cars have different size and length of screws, and some even have several different size screws in one car, like on Scalextric's Aston Martin DBR9.
Yes, but, they are all around the same DIA. I think, 2.2mm. But try buying them. Cheapest I have found, £2.99 for 10, that's 29p each. £1 + per car. I'm sure I could buy them cheaper than that, Box of 100 for a fiver. If only I had the right DIA. Not bothered about the small counter sunk ones that screw into the inertia.
