Does anyone know if SCX track and Scaley Classic track will connect without using a converter track of some kind?

You do not need a converter section for connecting SCX with Scaley Classic. They are both fully compatible!

Yes they do, I run both. The SCX track has better joins on the rails and suffer less from bad connections and power loss. Also I find the SCX is more grippy on corners, great for those older cars with tyres past their best.

No problems and the borders are interchangable. (I prefer the scaelextric.) I have even added a classic pitlane from the late 60's with no problem.
