I also ran out of Fuel in heat 3 with just about a minuet to go

On a side note from the race stewards I received this message:

"It later came to our attention that Mr Thorndike had applied a treatment to his tyres.

Therfore he will be stripped of his race meeting win and penalised 100 laps in the next SCX Endurance Metting"

unintentional cheating.
I applied 3 in 1 oil to my tyres and made them into zero grips.
100 laps hey.
that may give me some competition once i get some new tyres.
I would also like to add that steves car had a bent axle.
So he did pretty good considering.

A bent axle, eh? Well that explains why it was vibrating like it was running on 20p coins instead of tyres down the straights!

I reckon that's why I kept going off on the bends too!

Do you know if the axle was what ultimately caused the car to fail in the last race?

Anyhoo - really looking forward to this Thursday!

Steve I think it was the NINCO Braids that Lee put on it.

They just couldn't make it thru the night, as they were worn out and all frayed

I did tell him to use some Slot.it ones, but I think he was desperate to get his 1st win on his own track

After over a year of running on it, that was the 1st race night win he has had

And that was the night he setup the pc aswell

And by Lee being demoted means I won I think.

So I think I'll take my one and only win, no matter how it came about

don't forget I have been preping your car to michael.
It runs real smooth now but seems to have no grip.

The car failed steve because the wires came out of the guide.
caused mainly by wrong braids and excessive crashing.
I have new braid now.
Remember slow and steady wins the race.
