I received the mercedes sls as a xmas present and was
delighted to get it but after only a few laps the car came to
a halt and when I depressed the controller trigger the
lights were not working. I had a look at the car and I could
not see anything wrong or blown.
I do recalling an old thread "SCX Xenon lights not working" and this
concluded that the lights would not blow if run at 12volts or
you can do a mod yourself.
I had a look at the box it says 14volts which is a little under
the 16volts for a scalextric track. Does this mean that the
car lights will only work with scx and can not if I want
to use it with scalextric without blowing the lights?
I must add this is my 1st SCX car for a long time and it is
very quick and will be a match to any of my other scalextric
and ninco GT cars.
