Hope so, but of late I don't get in from work early enough to hit the road, so consider me like Dave P - a permanent maybe

I have set up a Facebook invite for this round, from the HONK FB page.

What chassis are legal in the two classes please?

You can race any chassis
So long as it has a F1 or Nascar body on it I dont care just come and race...
lets see what you got...
I dont see the sense in putting restrictions on the classes at this stage
just build your best car, come and race it...

Deane your always a maybe at least I don't say I'm coming and
Don't show the bridge from Essex to Kent is a lot better now
So can't use that as an excuse
You have to think of a few more for the book
Due to work comments and family .bereavement I haven't been able to get to honk
so no need to have a dig when you don't know the full reasons why
I'm sure I have been to honk more times that you anyway but who's counting

My comment about you - which you need to note was accompanied by a smiley - was a follow up to a humerous comment that Jim made, which perhaps you missed.

I am sorry for your loss, but this really was a light-hearted post that you have taken the wrong way.

As for my journey, all I can say is that I have to get in from work, get showered etc, get some food in me and clean up after that before I can even contemplate looking at the traffic. I am in the same boat as others for sure, but I am coming from further away and the other side of the river.

If there is potential to get there in time I check out the webcams along the M25 maintained by the highways agency, and make a final decision based on what I see. There is no 'excuse'.

But I am aknowledging to Jim that my participation is always likely to be iffy and so I won't be posting a response in future, albeit I chose to do it in a humorous fashion.

You are more than welcome. I'm glad it was a good night.

Hopefully we can get a few more faces and the club can have some stability, it feels like we are getting there.

Thank You for sticking with it.
