Semi-permanent track

Hello all,

Have decided to start the process of building my own track. I'm not too interested in scenery at this time. Since I'm only a single guy renting, I dont have the room to set up a permanent track, but I want to have the ability to set the track more quickly. Would it be feasible to build a track approximately 10ft by 8ft on four 5 by 4 ft pieces, that can be put together relatively quickly?

Does anyone else have any experience in this?

Bender,

If it's plastic track, build the tables light and have them bolt together easily. I then would cut the locking tabs (if Sport track) on the track where it crosses over the joint. I did this and you can see it on the construction of my track. I'm able to take the tables apart at will. Now moving them, that's another story!
