I'm travelling to Manchester (UK) next month and i'm too lazy to make web research of slotcar or hobby -shops in that area.

Please suggest some shops where to visit during my staying there...

Take a trip up to pendle its about 25 miles from manchester but its worth the trip .

If you are in the area or travelling to the Lake district on holiday and fancy a quick detour we are approx 30 minutes from the M6 at Preston. Details of the shop and how to get there can be found at www.pendleslotracing.co.uk
PS. Take a tip - leave the other half at the Boundary mill shop on Jct 13 M65. That will keep her amused for hours while you get to look around the shop in peace!

i am from manchester and would like to welcome you to the rainy city

its not that bad really

well scalextric shops you have the MODELZONE located on deansgate in the centre of manchester stockists of scalextric/fly/scx/revell good stocks competetive prices

then you also have a shopping mall a few miles away called the TRAFFORD CENTRE in there there is a model/hobby shop which also sell scalextric/fly/scx/revell and i think ninco there prices are a bit higher but they have some more collectable items and rarer fly cars ltd editions etc footlocker viper for instance

anyway if you visit either of these shops you will not be dissapointed if i was to choose one of them to visit i would go to the modelzone in the centre of manchester located on deansgate lower prices and also have regular sales/reductions etc
