I am told there will be a second series. It is still be repeated on Discovery and the first series will continue to be aired until the second is made. I`ve been trying to suss if it would be worth while obtaining the rights to distribute the series on DVD and Video? I dont think it will be shown in the States but that`s what you get if you rebel aginst your King! Seriously, I`ll ask the question about the States and let youi know if I get anywhere,don`t hold your breath though.

As for me, I`m not so sure I want to do the second series, there are a whole lot of behind the scenes stories to tell to explain this.....maybe at the yearly meet?

I've got it taped but have no means of copying it. If I remember rightly this topic was on SCI ages ago and someone was able to provide copies to you US folks. Dunno who. Worth watching if only to see what this hobby will turn us in to!

John your behind the scenes snippets would be excellent postings - just give us all a bit more insight. You can't tease us and leave us hanging!

... if it ever returns, I'd be happy to send it to someone else, but I'm pretty sure it won't run on a US machine. To be honest, it didn't run all that well on my own!

A second series would be good, though I would happy if the term 'slot jockey' was never used again! Ever.

I took part in the SC series ( I'm a member of the Phoenix club with jonnys) - it was a great experience but the slot jockey tag was a pain - the presenter was a bit of a burke but the show came across well- especially the scenery Jon!

As you were there for the filming you can vouch for how many times I called Alex a [email protected]&! but of course as expected these bits lie on the floor of the editors office! I dont think i`ll ever recover from the blue coveralls and it is to the wearing of these that I blame my total lack of female groupies. Although I did have a rather nice offer from a nice chap with a beard up North, races at a club called Pindle I think? Seriously mate have you seen the amount of work i have `volunteered ` you guys for in putting this yearly event together?!!!
