Sorry if this has been covered before.......I have recently tried running my track in analogue mode, the cars run backward (which i think is right?), but they only go about a foot then the power base shuts down (7042) any ideas? (never had any trouble running digital)

Yes two, and two xlc

Have you done the vasectomy on the CLCs?? The XLCs will be OK.

Sorry ......... underneath the track hidden underneath the plate is a set of copper tracks. You need to snip the cross connecting tracks to prevent the two lanes from shorting which leads to the PB going into safe mode.
