Simon and others: Seeking clarifications on headlights for new Scaly Porches, Cudas, Camaro

Friends,

I have been anxiously awaiting a number of planned 2021 Scalextric offerings, and just placed pre-orders for the C4222 Capri, C4211 Jager Porsche, C4241 Holbert Porsche, C4235 Bastos Camaro, and C4253 Lotus Esprit (some of these in larger quantities). I will be racing these in an IMSA Daytona/Sebring endurance class, and thus will need headlights. I had seemed to read when they were first offered that each of these would have the standard headlights, and Pendles still shows each as having such, but the Scalextric website page for each shows them as not having the headlights that I need.

Can Simon or anyone else here confirm if these models indeed will have headlights or not? Thanks!

Simon, you are "Obi Wan Kenobi" - my only hope! Thank you so much. Is that also true with BOTH 2021 Esprits - do neither have lights? What about the new 2022 one?
Thank you for obliging me.

The real Esprit had pop-up headlights. I’m not sure that would be a good idea on a racing slot car……?
None of the esprits have front lights! Do have rears though
Thanks for being the final word, Simon - I was confused since early sources, and places like Pendle today, still show them as having lights, and I am disappointed that they don't, for I had pre-ordered them with that understanding, and a historical application to use them as a 24 Hour Daytona race car.
