Hi, I,m of on a trip to New York City with my daughter in a couple of months. I looked on the net but can't find any slot shops in the city. We are only going for 3 days so have to do the tourist bit so can't spare the time to travel far. Wondered if anyone knows of any shops there. Thanks in advance

Was over there for a week last year,,,only found one place that does slot cars but they were old 1/32 I was looking for ho scale. Cant rember what street shop was on but will check with my Aunt over there for you as it is close to her work. Does mainly trains with a few cars hope this helps.

FAO Schwarz had a small selection. Was odd because half the selection were Revell. This was around 6 years ago.
They are on 5th Avenue.

Oh and Toys R Us had a good selection of Carrera... I think they were on Broadway...or close to it.

On PowerSlotcars website it says that they have a 3000sqf Hobby shop in New York, might be worth a look or phone call before you head that way.

fao schwarz had nothing last year same with toys r us but toys r us do have a ferris wheel!!!!!!!!!!
Also if doing the tourist bit the people at the rockefeeler centre were a lot nicer than the empire state building!!!!!!!!!
Also look online you can print out a lot of deals money off enterance etc

I was over there last November FAO Schwarz had HO limited editions fire and police cars and some Carrera not a good selection. Buds HO are outside in the suburbs and I think he might be closed to the public the store being used as a warehouse but you might check again on the web.

As mentioned before when I was over there I did not find anything,,,and that was round the "tourist bit" wich I think you will be based around,,,I stayed on Staten Island getting from there to Manhattan took over an hour so dont think getting to Brooklyn will be like poping to the corner shop
