Hiya Guys,

Although I do love this forum for technical knowledge, in keeping with requests from moderators I have now stopped using it as a general gassing zone.

However, I do feel that somewhere for us to yell, scream and generally take the mickey out of each other is missing.

Therefore I have opened up a chat room specifically aimed at slot enthusiasts. It can be found at www.ukchatrooms.net it is listed under General and is called "Slot Racer", or you can click the link below

Slot Chat Room

This is a fairly stable chat room network that I have been chatting on for a while. You will need to download some software and register a name to be able to use the site - but it is free. Please feel free to PM me if you have any difficulites.

Hope to see you there,

Hugs x x x

PS Dear moderators - I hope you dont mind me posting this.

Ohhh - couple of points i forgot

1, you will see me hosting in there as "RacyLady"

2, UKChatrooms is an over 18 network, therefore anyone who appears to be under 18 from their profile or demeanor will be removed.

Well guys, to say that you wanted somewhere for "general gassing" and I opened a chat room for you - i have had precisely 3 people during this week, and only one of those was from slot forum.

I will leave it open for a bit, but if i dont get much interest i will be shutting it.

Its up to u

Hiya,

The download for the software can take a few mins on a dial-up connection.

Slot Chat Room

Most users will NOT NEED to do this - but if you are still having problems after you have downloaded, you may need to adjust your settings on Internet Explorer as follows;

In Internet Explorer Click 'Tools > Internet Options'
click the 'Security Tab' and then click 'Custom Level'
Make sure 'Run ActiveX Controls signed with Authenticode' is set to enable
Make sure 'Download signed ActiveX Controls' is set to prompt
Make sure 'Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins' is set to enable
Make sure 'Script ActiveX Controls marked as safe' is set to enable

If you are using a firewall ensure that you allow outbound traffic on port 6667. To enable whispers u may also need to allow access through your firewall for the UCCWhisper component.

If you are having problems loggin in, try the following:
In Internet Explorer Click 'Tools > Internet Options'
then click 'Privacy', then click 'Edit'.
type in 'www.ukchatrooms.net' and press Allow.

Hope this helps,
