Just a note that the Slot Chat room 'SlotRacer' is still trundling along nicely; it has regular chatters from this forum, and was set up for people here (though it is not an official slot-forum chat room).

It can be found here http://www.ukchatrooms.net

register, log in, and find our room in the 'general' section. (if the room comes up but doesnt appear to work, try typing in the text box to wake it up).

Advice for newcomers and old-hands alike - if there is no-one chatting when you arrive, stick around, do something else on ur pc but leave the window open. I have seen ppl miss each other by minutes or even seconds so many times!

So if you want to chill, have real time slot car chat, or just have a look, please drop in!

Just a quick note for anyone else with technical difficulties - you will need java installed to get the chat room working. Try Sun's java page if stuck

Are you positive about that coop? My understanding is it aint java based, but if you are having problems, its worth a try!

Well, when I first tried it (sans Java) I just got the no-java placeholder image then when I installed Sun Java it sprang into life! Odd...

I had problems with Netscape (Java installed), but not the latest version - won't run on my machine. I switched to IE for the chat room, since I also need it here, and it worked fine.

Maybe Bill Gates has discovered slot cars and wants all the action!
