Slot it car with Saloon Car DPR Chip

Sort of inspiration hit today. I want to use scaley saloon car chips because of the ease of in-car pro and I use scaley motors anyway. A quick look today hints at it being possible to use a DPR chip sans the plastic bit to fit Slot it Grouo C cars and use the hole provided. Anybody tried this?

It should work - I have done 10 DPR chips with Scaley cars.
Why would you use a DPR C8515 chip instead of the normal saloon chip C7006? The DPR without plastic is not very much smaller.
The DPR chip has no soldering pads for head and brake lights and is more difficult to modify than the saloon chip C7006.
Also future upgrades of Incar Pro are more difficult, because the solder pads for the programmer are on the down side of the chip.
I have added head and rear/brake lights - it is possible, but requires very fine soldering.
I have photos here: Incar Pro on DPR chip with HL and BK post #184
