Pendle Slot Racing Club hosts round 5 of the 2011 Slot It Challenge on the 17th/18th September

Directions
From M65 Eastbound exit at junction 12. Take the Left lane on the Slip road and at the Roundabout take the first Exit (Left). Follow the road down and Cross two mini Roundabouts.
Continue to follow this road for about ¾ of a mile till eventually you come to the end. Turn left and left again into the car park. The club is situated in the last unit on the left. (No 49)

Please note that Sat nav systems will direct you to junction 12 and to the wrong side of the Estate were there is no access. Please program your Sat Nav to Junction 13.

Surface: MDF finished in gloss
Rails: Steel Braid
Timing: DS Winslot Software, with Digital display.

Set up Tips
Chassis
Offset sidewinder motor mount with or without suspension. Track is smooth so no big advantage either way.
Deep guides can be used here.

Tyres
Slot it P6s or F15.

Motors
Anglewinder mount with open can is a must for this track.
Gearing. The track very flowing and depending on which motor you chose to go with 12z pinion and 26-29 works well depending on driving style.
Power
Each lane is individually power with a 13.8 6amp fixed transformer.

Food
As Normal Food will be available on Saturday and Sunday. More details to follow.

Practice times
As most will be aware the track has undergone some changes in the past 12/18 months, the latest upgrade of the track is due to be completed on tuesday August 30th when the final corner hairpin is to be replaced by a new more demanding section. This means that the scheduled practice meeting on this date has been cancelled.
The following dates are available for open practice between 10am till 4pm
Saturday September 3rd
Saturday September 10th
Race fees of £5 / day apply on the above dates.
these dates are in addition to the saturday practice on the weekend of the Slot.it challenge 17/18th September

Rose Hill House Meal

3 Course Meal. £20 per person.

Cancellation policy. You must notify us no later than Friday the 9th or you will be required to pay for your meal in full.

Soup of the day with fresh crusty bread

Oven baked Brie, Tomato and Onion chutney, crisp salad leaves

Chicken Cesar salad with bacon crisps

Ham Hock Terrine, Salad leaves, Cranberry Conserve

Main Dish

Oven Roasted Supreme of Chicken with basil and White wine sauce

Poached Salmon dressed with dill and lemon Hollandaise sauce

Slow roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy

Thats me booked into the Rose House...by the way, Sharon doesn't work there anymore so no point asking for her!!!!!


Won't be up until later on the Saturday, but hopefully early enough to get a bit of practice and with a slightly clear head after my sisters wedding on the Friday!!!!

Flange - You could pay £100 and have everything on the menu?!!!!
