Just getting back into slot racing again and I have a few cars that have seen better days...some of them much better days!!

I have seen teh Slot.It spare parts and am interested in them but have a few questions about them.

Do the gears fit on standard Scalextric axles or do you need Slot.It axles as well? Also do the Slot.It axles fit a Scalextric car with no alterations?

One obvious question as well is...does putting the new parts in make a noticeable difference when running on a home track compared to just using the standard (and cheaper) parts?

Hi Alan

The stuff is 3/32 so from memory it does fit.

The new Hornby stuff is good and vastly cheaper and if it is just for home use I don't think you'll notice.

Maybe an idea would be to acquire a car complete and have a look?

If you are talking about the rubber and not the running gear and answer will be yes definately.

If in doubt talk to Sean/Tony @ Pendle.
