In the "New Stuff" section of the July/August 2003 issue of MCR magazine there is a picture of a Slot.It Pit-Stop. It isnt the best of pictures but it looks intriguing all the same. I havent been able to find any more details though..... anyone out there know anything about it ?

Cheers...Mark.

Fast Lucky, thanks for taking the time to look.
The article in MCR seems to suggest that it is a Slot.it pit stop but it is finished off with a Fly Saleen (I think) and SCX re-painted figures (according to the text). All a bit confusing !!!

I hope Fly or someone does decide to release a detailed pit-stop, I'm afraid Scaleys old 60's and 80's (?) re-issue just dont cut the mustard for me any more. Not keen on the Sport card version either.

Thanks again for your help

MRE has the Bauer Pit Tower/garage/office kit in stock. In the photo it looks very good in some areas but in others such as the stairs it looks decidedly "cheap"

Anyone have any experience with these card kits ?

I am thinking about buying one to see for myself but you will be saving me £21 if the general consensus is to steer clear of them

Thanks in advance.

PS to Moderators...perhaps this topic needs moving to "Tracks and Scenery" ?
