Here are some new images of the Slot.it Blaupunkt Porsche 962 ref. SICA03a.

The pictures are of an actual production car and currently the cars are being air freighted to our warehouse, where they will be delivered in a week or so.

Best regards

Maurizio

That car's a keeper, for sure.

But I'm getting confused here; the poster's ID is Russell Sheldon but the post is signed Maurizio, yet elsewhere today there is a poster with the ID 'Slot. It' and they are also signed, Maurizio.

Can someone put me straight here?

Will the next Slot.It car be the lightblue/blue or the red/black Mazda?
Both is already done by TeamSlot!
And will they do the Sauber Mercedes no. 63 even when there is no picture of it on their site?

Hi.

Yes, I send the articles to Russel and he does the courtesy of publishing them on SF. He is in an 'Internet press release' distribution list that includes several sites, that might decide, or not, to publish the article.

Regarding the Nissan (not Mazda): Team Slot made the 1998 version, not the 1997 (ours), and the black and red decoration was never seen on a 1998 body in the real world. The first Nissan to come out will be the road car, but before, the P962 Repsol will be out early in January.

regarding the Merc Sauber C9: currently the plan is to come out with the Kouros, car n.63 (winner 1989) will surely be made in the future.

Best regards

Maurizio

There are so many possible liveries for 962's and some, such as the Lowenbrau car driven by Al Holbert may never be done because of the sponsorship of the car. My question is: Can a plain white car be done so that some of us may apply our own paintjobs/liveries/decals? I really hate dipping a beautiful new tampoed body in stripper.
I think it would be a good seller due to so many possibilities. What do you think?

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. ...sign me up for the Jaguar too!!!

Got my order in for the Blaupunkt 962 now as well. That'll be my fourth Slot.It car and I just can't wait for more! The NewMan 956 was a true masterpiece!!! Those tyres were way improved. I even found a slight difference between the Goodyear ones and the Dunlops, in favour of the latter. Can anyone confirm this?

Also and much more important to me:
1990 - Daytona Beach 24 Hours, Porsche 962C, Bruce Leven, Texaco, Pole position! (a truly brilliant lap with time run out to bump Geoff Brabham and the mighty Nissan GTP, who was not happy he could not go back out!)

While we're asking for a wish list from Slot It, I'd like to see at 935K and 936. Any chance of yet more Porsche's, Maurizio?
