Hi guys
I want to install a slot.it rear end in my Ninco BMW V12 LMR. The crown that comes
with the starter kit won't clear the body on this car.
Which crown gear will fit?(clear the body). Also will a NC1 type motor work, with the Ninco adaptor in this car?

Don't know about SlotIt crown diameters, etc. Ninco do an adaptor that enables an NC1 type motor to fit to an NC2 chassis. Think I saw some on GetSlotted. PinkKar do an adaptor for their 'PowerPlus' NC1 type motors but you have to drill a 3mm hole through one end to get it to fit a Ninco NC2 chassis. Check Pendle or Gaugemaster for PinkKar spares.

i take it is a yellow slot it crown gear that has come with the starter kit i think it has 27 teeth on it.
you could always go for small number of teeth on the crown that is slot it make them with less teeth so smaller crown
blue i think is 26
green 24
but these 2 are smaller than the yellow 27 in diameter so it should clear the body but will give i think less braking effect but more top end speed.

The yellow crowm gear in the starter kit is in fact 28 teeth, the diameter of this gear is to big to fit in the car. 27 is black and will fit.

gears from big to small available from slot.it are:
red 30 teeth
yellow 28 teeth
black 27 teeth
blue 26 teeth
green 24 teeth

You can get slot.it starter kits on all number of z´s. But the black one is the 27z , the yellow crown is 28z.

But i dont understand the problem. The V12 LMR is that BMW LMP barquetta right?
I didnt had any problem both with using the NC1/NC2 adapter from ninco to a slot.it v12 29k or with slot.it crowns.

Their size fits all my nincos chassis.
The only problem i had with their stuff on my V12LMP was that the piece of motor axle that stick out of the motor towards the front (i dont know the technical terms to explain this) was rubbing on the driver seat, so i had to dremmel out that piece of metal. After that, i managed to steal .2 secs of my best lap record.

Perhaps the LMR aint the LMP, i dunno know...

you must be right Race-Jan. I´ve only tested my bmw with the 27 and 24z´s (black and green). so i really dont know if the 28z´s would be too big to fit.

The LMR is different from the LMP. The yellow slotit crown is just too large. I will try
one of the smaller ones.
