Just a quick 'un.

I assume that the three codes imply three different softness levels but which way around is it?

They are shore rating and the 22s are great for racing on lots of surfaces. I am not sure how the shore rating is done. I read somewhere it is the compound shore that is used not tested with a durometer after production but it matters not they are good products. They also make a great "control" tyre as the number and manufacturer are printed on the side so ducks and drakes if they are used.
