Yesterday I had the pleasure to find in Classic and Sportscar, perhaps one of the most respected and famous magazines in the classic car world, and my favourite, a full advertising page of Revell Monogram, with beautiful colour photos of Cobras, Vettes and future releases; moreover in the same issue, in the model's page usually devoted to diecast, there were no less than four beautiful slot cars!
It's nice to see slot cars outside the slot world.

C&SC seem to have slot cars on their die-cast page every month and that Revell-Monogram ad has been running for quite a while. IIRC They did a page on Marc Gussens (sp.?) scratch-builds as well - probably within the last 12 months or so
