That will be the old, old website. Before we migrated to this software the forum had a link to the original forum and the things that were on that. I think the peripheral stuff like news and reviews will be gone, all the threads though are still with us. Here's my first thread in 2006: Dead Power Base | SlotForum

Hello Riko, Yes that is correct. I am looking for a topic about expensive purchases where I posted about a Scalextric Porsche 911 from a Belga special edition set. This around December 2018.
I have no idea when the software was updated or when the new site was created.

Try using our advanced search option to track down the thread if you know some keywords.

Near the top of the community, you will see a search bar.



Enter a search term or phrase and click enter on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass.



Advanced Search

To narrow down search results, click on “Advanced Search” after clicking the search bar.



This will allow you to choose to search titles only, add the member username who posted it or even select a specific forum to search from.



Enter your search criteria and click “Search “ at the bottom.



You can also access advanced search by clicking the 3 vertical dots near the upper right-hand corner of the site and selecting “Advanced “Search”



Search Specific Forum

If you want to search a specific section, navigate to the forum section before entering your search term in the search bar and then select the option.



Search Specific Discussion Thread

If you want to search a specific discussion thread, navigate to it before entering your search term in the search bar and then select the option.

Hello Jeff, thank you for your in-depth response. I had already unsuccessfully tried these facilities with various parameters, including +"belga" +"porsche" and my username. The latter parameters find the posting above but no others. I also tried using Google site: type searches and found another mention of the car in question (Scalextric Porsche 935 bodied cars. )
Also I tried Google Images and specified a few of the photographs that I have and one of which I must have used but to no avail.

I have now lost hope of finding the topic/posting that I am looking for so you can close this ticket.
