Hi,
You have to use a 1,3" Allen key for change the bit ! ( If you use our wheels for example, it is the same Allen key ...)

I use the sloting plus torque wrench and I am impressed with it. I purschased the slot it torque one when it came out and it did not last a month before the tip rounded off. I then used the non torgue NSR and I broke (I am far too clumsy) at least 3 tips over 12 months although I had no trouble with the tip rounding off. I then bought the sloting plus torque wrench and it has lasted me 9 months so far provding exemplary performance, and it has the advantage you can just change the tip

In the doubt, the 0,9 bit go with the "Gold" tool, 1,27 bit with the "Silver" one and 1,5 bit with the "Black" one ....
Yes, you need our standard allen key, sorry ! ( we use it for our wheels, stoppers, crown gears, removable pinions too )

Nice bit of kit, I have been using one now for around 3 months. My suggestion the wrench comes with a spare allen key to change bits. Essentially you 2 wrenches, one to use on cars and another to change bits.

I was making a joke. I thought it was a bit funny that I needed another wrench to change the bit - as this is the only 1.27 wrench I have. Most of my cars have 0.9 grub screws but I needed the 1.27 wrench for my new NSR cars. I was planning on swapping the bits around between 1.27 and 0.9 as I thought the handles were inter changeable - I have read on your website now that there is a set handle for each size.
I am very happy with the wrench - it is very well made and the torque feature works really well.

Hi,
At the beginning,we gave one allen key in eack pack of wheels or other products and our fidel customers had dozens of keys they paid !!!
We decided to optimize our products costs (and so retail prices) by no providing always allen key ....
David:It is logical you have a tool for each bit size because the torque is indeed determined by this bit size!

Hi, I just stumbled across this thread, and saw the picture of the Slotting Plus Torque wrench and the spare/replacement tips and thought - I didn't realise you could buy one handle and just swap the tips, I'll get one of them, but as you have just found out - it appears you can't swap the tips for the different sizes, shame that.
Maybe each size tip has a different Torque setting, possibly - just a thought, so you need a different handle for each tip. Why else would they make you buy a separate handle for each tip?, other than to make more money.
Funny that you need another Allen key to change the tip, would be even funnier if it needed the same size that was on the tip to change it.
They look way nice though, can't beat having quality tools. I would buy them - no worries, if I didn't have a 1001 other things I want/need to buy!

yes each handle has a different torque setting - I still plan to change the tips once I get another 1.3 allan key

Well, i am afraid all is not clear , sorry !
Take an example : For 0,9 tip, the torque of the tool is limited in order to not damage by forcing too much when you loose screws ....
If the tip is different, the limit of the torque is different too !
So, it is not for gain money ! It is just three different tools with their change bits

Yup a quick change set up, just pull back the collar, click in, no allen keys need, would be nice. I think the wrench should come with a spare key otherwise.
Yup mine was 0.9 that broke so I had to buy TWO more 0.9s and use pliers to hold the 0.9 key to change keys. Personally Id prefer to pay extra and get the spare key otherwise how do you change keys? Just an idea
