My girlfriend and I are heading to the west coast of the US. We are going to Oregon and making our way down to the US MotoGp at Laguna Seca in July
. It would be great if we could visit a couple of clubs or have a look at some hobby stores on the way. We will also be hoping to head over to Vegas and back to L.A. aswell.
If anyone knows of some clubs or stores to visit, please help me out,
I can start putting an agenda together.

In Oregon look up Rich Vecchio @ [email protected] and see http://www.pelicanparkspeedway.com/ to see one very excellent Oregon web site.

In Northern Calif (just above SF) see http://scrhobbies.homestead.com/scrhome.html and tell Frank Hi

A must see is the home of Toytech bodies and Foster's Raceway in Santa Maria, Calif. Steve has 2 good size tracks, a 1/4 mile Drag & 800+ sf of showcases full of vintage slot goodies! http://www.toytechracing.com/

In L.A. visit the ultimate in speed, be it Blue King or 1/4 mile Drag Strip, Buena Park is it
Home of many National, Regional & Local racing this August will be a record setter for sure as the USRA holds its 34th annual wingcar NATS

If you want to jet over to Phoenix for some 120 degree sunshine check out mines @ http://www.gofastest.com/cruzin/

Thanks for that CruisnBob,
The info you've supplied is great. I looked at the sites you linked me and they look great as well. We dont have any wing tracks in operation here in Adelaide, Australia any more. We've got a blue king thats waiting to be reassembled but we need to find somewhere to put it, not like it will fit in the back room. Hope to get to see some of the places you link me in July.

Thanks again,
BigAl

Al:

We have a club in the Glendale area of Los Angeles. When in July will you be visiting? We race every other Saturday, and as the host of most of the races is a fellow Aussie, I'm sure you'd be welcome.
