just a little musing,

The cherubs don't necessarilly get it. So try a different approach.

The recent posts re: plain white, street cars, reminds me of a early slot car revelation. While humoring me at the track, my lady friend says"do they all have to have that racing stuff all over them?". So I get it it. I order her a ninco street porsche, blue, 'cause its the only color they got.

Well she likes it and we go driving not racing, get it? So on another occasion i offer up the cartrix porshe/bmw to someone I know looking for a car for his wife, so as to keep her interested. sold on the one in yellow!

What I am saying, is take the girl for a ride in the country. Forget racing.

I got a ninco bmw m3, and a audi TT, to drive with the porshe, both street versions. I would have a mercedes clk (ninco) if they made plain white or street version (I would prefer black). So the whining about street cars look dumb on the dumb plastic track just does not have much credence with me.

Take a cherub driving, you might be glad you did.

More street liveries, please, or at least some good advise on stripping all that tampo and repainting.

Glad it works for you, VOA!
Problem for me is that my "cherub" is also an ex-racer and wouldn't drive a street-liveried slot car if her life depended on it! Unfortunately, she lost all interest several years ago. Oddly, her (very capable) artistic side is getting keen to help with the landscaping and detailing on the future track. And... she keeps ogling and picking up my Yokohama (our prior tire sponsor) Fly BMW M3 GTR. There's hope yet!

More than one way to get a cherub aroused.... errr, interested. But your idea might work very well in many cases, VOA!

Yep, i got a lot of my mrrc figures painted that way, and much better than my own painting.

If they cost as much as their pit babes, I guess they will sit on the shelf at the store.

I had to look the word up...

cher·ub
A representation of a small angel, portrayed as a child with a chubby rosy face.
A person, especially a child, with an innocent or chubby face.

I mistakenly thought that the thread was about this:-

Kind regards

I'm learning all the time, Don! Isn't this forum just great! Lot's of info on slot cars too!

Couldn't find the words "munters" or "munter" though; that's a new one to me!

1 Stone = 6.35029 kg; 15 stone (or is that stones?) equals 95.2544 kg! Ouch!
Those ladies aren't going to like Mr M very much!
I'd say they are all around 45 kg to 55 kg max (7.08629 to 8.66102 stone).

To add to the "How do you hold yours" thread....

HOW?.... WHAT.... did you say??

Given what I know of your cinematic preferences, I'm not sure film references are your best option for a broad audience.

Anyway, which trucks is it tonight, SCX or Fly?
