HI

It has been warm this summer in Seattle and very good painting weather. (I paint outside in a covered area so am dependent on the weather.) I also worked on some of David Yerbury's bodies over the past year and so finally got to paint them. Now to build. So, a couple of photos.

From left to right
Lotus 11 (sliced across to shorten ... I got carried away and shortened it a bit too much!)
Lister Bristol, Cooper, and Frazer Nash (all sliced vertically in two places to narrow the body)
So now they are all close to scale. I will get these up and running along with a Lola Mk1 from AA bodies.

Then some modified Carrera D types and an MMK Talbot Lago with extensive wheelwell modifications and also detail work on the fenders (scalloping them a bit)

It is really hard to see the detail on the fenders for the Talbot in this photo.

Finally .. a rainbow of bodies. I uploaded a couple of other photos in the gallery No painting over the winter ... just building!

Wow, that's commitment! Usually when I start something I have to finish it, I could never do what you've done. I've done a few of the AA bodies myself and they are really hard work if you want to make them look good, so I look forward to seeing them finished, especially the Lotus's/Loti.

Thanks,

Pete

Pete and others ...

yes ... a lot of work ahead of me. I wished i could finish cars as easily as I start them. I might be a lot better off if I could do them one at a time, but I continually get ahead of myself ...

will have some other projects up soon ... I hope.

thanks everyone!!
