Hi,

I'm seeking a supplier for spares for my two oldest Porsche Boxsters (Red and Dark Yellow). They've both suffered the same failure, at the point where the guide blade shaft passes through the mounting on the chassis, the 'collar' has broken and super glue just isn't cutting it !

I'm trawling the usual auction site but...

If you have any of these cars for sale regardless of condition , any colour, digital or not , provided the chassis are useable - please PM me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, I'd like to make another shout out for the belly pan of the Super Resistant Porsche Boxster part No. W8912

Please note the reason I get through so many of these: I use them when running events at school fayres (ALL proceeds go to the school in question) and I find the boxsters stick to the track well allowing the smaller kids to stay on better however they are prone to the collar failing.

My next event is at St Dunstons College on December 11th.

If any one has any Digital or Analogue Boxters / Belly pans they would care to donate to a good cause or if you have any available for purchase please P.M. me

Kind Regards

I've got a body and one of a TT that I need chassis for, so cant help.
If you come upon a "bulk" supply, let me know. I'll do likewise. Its worth contacting some of the parts sellers like SlotcarsWales on ebay , they may have them but not consider them worth listing.
Also there is normally a swap meet in Swindon early January, where you may pick them up if you're prepared to rumage through the boxes on the floor below sellers tables.........

I would also strengthen the body support pillars with oodles of epoxy as well; I have had several broken in very hard smashes at Charidee events .....

A big thanks to monquispot

For the following information

Photo of B-Nova Guide

These are specifically for repairing Scalextric chassis at the guide mount. Also work on most other manufacturers chassis, Carrera/SCX being exceptions. These also are easy reinforcements before the chassis breaks. Of course there is a downside, especially when using with the stock Scalextric 'sport' guide: the front of the chassis will be raised by the 1/32" or 1/16" etc.

Hi guys

For those interested in how I manage to kill so many Boxsters here are a few images from the event I ran last week at my sons school - We ran for two hours killed two boxsters with guide post failures and made £50 for the schools 'Greenpower Electric Car' project. The frame of which you can see in the background on a couple of the pics.

SSDC was awesome on the big display - and the Power Labs board gave the kids an incentive to try keep the cars on the track - The 'Stig' got 6.383 seconds one of the kids actually got within 0.1 of a second and he won the prize 'Tin of Quality Street' for fastest lap !

For a £1 entry fee they got a couple of minutes 'Free Practice' then a 10 Lap race - certificates with their fastest lap time from the race were then given to each client, which also carried information on the back about the 'Greenpower' teams project so as to raise awareness.

Many Many Thanks to AircraftNutz - for a very generous donation of 6 Boxsters to the cause.

Be assured they will all be used and will allow me to keep the fleet operational for a long time to come - I intend to strengthen the guide post area as suggested in the posts referred to above in order to ensure their long life of service.

Once again thank you for your generous donation it is very much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Sorry to bring this topic back up guys but thought it better than starting a new one.

Does anyone have any spare Boxter Shells they'd happily part with for a fee?

I'm after any of the Blue Yellow or White ones with the stripes. I've ended up with 3 of the Red ones yet can't be hassled with either painting or selling them to buy new.

Thanks in advance.
