Hi guys,

This may be a really stupid question (one of my specialisms) but does anyone know anything about comissioning untampoed cars (from Scalex)? Is it possible? Are there minimum orders? I guess it must be possible as I have some old Scoobys, Corollas and some sort of F1 in plain white, But do they still do it?

Just ignore me if I am being dense...

Wraith, I was after some of the Aussie Holden's and Falcon's to convert to Police examples which is why white would be ideal. I was thinking that I might offset the number needed by seeing if there were people who wanted to make up their grids with cars not available comercially.

3000 is way out of my league though. So if anyone knows where I might buy up some Holdens and Falcons on the cheap then I guess I will have to go Full Monty on them. Geddit?

Wow. So basically, its unlikely I can pick a few up for re-livery? I have just arrived in New Zealand and fancied a quick project to add to my other Police vehicles. Any idea where the best place to look would be?

Thanks Ember. Yeah, I meant the V8SC's. Have been slowly learning how Trade me differs from Ebay... The nature of the police cars from Scaley means the ld/hi won't be too much of a prob as I am just getting away from 'box fresh' cars. Have just finished my first resin kit from Teamslot, a kit bash from Arii and am halfway ish through an avenger from 1/32nd. Any ideas on where I might go for digital track with PC connectivity for a circuit like the Top Gear set in this hemisphere?

Doh! I forget that there are a couple of thousand miles between us! Have just moved to Palmerston North. There is a local model shop but it only has about half a dozen current cars...

Will keep an eye out for the guys you mentioned.
