OH NO! Another car I'll have to buy...

Yo EvotecShop,

Nice heads up...

Since you seem to have an inside line at Spirit, (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean) do you know if they are ever going to do the Spirit Lola in the Champion Livery?

That would be another must-buy for me!

Thanks for the info

QUOTE At the moment that they are going to commercialize a model of rally in few months

Is this, for me, the much anticipated Group B Peugeot 205 T16? Technically it supposed to be a 4wd with a dual pulley system although it's guide position will allow an axle with a crown wheel on it so it could be converted to a SCX type 4wd. To help this it is said that the motor cradle will allow the fitting of many other motors. Pikes Peak here I come!

Care to elaborate on that one?

Now I've seen the Spirit Ferrari I'm afraid I have them pigeon-holed as a bit iffy. It ran really nicely though.

Wankel,

Sure the Ferrari isn't accurate for sure but the other models are fine (Lola, Reynard, Dallara) ... save for the mirrors on the Dallara ! They must belong to a 1/12 scale model !

Matt,

Yes, it is the 205T16 !

Carrera Kid,

They definitely have the Lola Champion in their catalog (3 liveries). The only thing with Spirit is that they don't release their liveries in the same order that they are announced ! There are still Ferraris, Reynards and Lolas (among which the yellow and blue Creighton
!) on the waiting list.

No, it`s not a racing version but it could be anyway. All the parts are same like Racing versions except the rims, in this case, made of plastic and in the other`s made in alluminium. But all the rest of parts are exactly the same.
However, the weight of this car is underneath the Reynard, and can be equipped with the optional lexan cockpit and so reduce a couple or three Grs the weight.
Here in Spain there are a lot of drivers who affirm that Dallara, so and as it leaves the box, is a little bit faster than Reynard Full Competition.
Tonight we will prove in our new circuit a pair of units of each car.

Looking good and Spirit are running well too. More competition into the arena is only good for the hobby I reckon and at least they seem to be working on some models that noone else is doing, great.

On receiving the latest Miniauto magazine yesterday, I notice a whole page advertisement on the Peugeot. Apart from different liveries, it seems as though they are planning to do different bodies as well. One version which stood out was the Pikes Peak car with the barn door on the back.

Nice to see you here Evotec. Welcome

Have you told to people here about Dallara's last results in Spanish races?

You sholud! is it true that the Dallara can beat easily the R8C?

Matt,

As someone told you before, the P205 T16 is announced for the early September I think... they'll release from a standard B group model to a Paris - Dakar one!!!!

Cheers,
